Become a Water Walker

Peter walked on water because he believed he could after Jesus bid him to come to Him. He began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on his environment.

“Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:29-31 ESV)

The other disciples had the good sense to stay in the boat since they did not believe they could walk on water and as a result, they didn’t. Get out of the boat if you have faith. Stay in the boat if you lack faith but spend time with God and in the word of God to build your faith.

It takes faith to get out of the boat of :

despair
grief
painful past
poverty mindset
sickness and disease
dis-ease
lack and want
demonic strongholds
soul ties
pride
selfishness
greed
envy
jealousy
… and everything that is not of God.

By faith, with faith and through faith —
you can become a water-walker, too.
